Nancy Morgan MD Dr Nancy Morgan

Dr. Nancy was born and raised right here in Seattle. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washington State University, did medical research for a few years, then attended medical school at the University of Washington where she met Robert. After her residency in St. Petersburg, Florida and first practice in Aberdeen, Washington she joined Robert as "first mate" on an 8 year sailing voyage aboard their sailboat, Harmony.  She resumed her practice in 1994, and was the only doctor on Lopez Island for some time.  In 2001 she founded Guardian Family Care with Robert. In addition to sailing and travel, she enjoys creating beautiful stained glass art. She spends time at their cabin on Lopez Island and is active in the Mill Creek Business Association

     Robert Morgan, MD

Dr. Robert was born in Texas but raised near Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island. He spent eight years in the US Navy Submarine Service and afterward earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Washington. He and Nancy met in the first year of Medical School where they were classmates. They completed their Family Practice residencies in St. Petersburg, Florida before returning to Washington in 1980 to begin their first practice together in Aberdeen. In 1986, he and Nancy departed on an 8 year world voyage aboard their own 41ft. ketch, Harmony. They sailed to the far eastern end of the Mediterranean Sea and returned via the Caribbean and Panama Canal. In addition to sailing, Dr. Robert enjoys flying his 1946 Taylorcraft airplane and riding and restoring classic Vespa scooters .

     Julie Isaak

Julie was born in Maryland and moved to Washington when she was nine. She currently resides in Marysville. She has been a medical assistant since 2002 and has experience in many different fields, including family practice, pediatrics, and plastic surgery. Julie and per spouse, Adam, have three children: two boys and a girl. She loves being out of doors, especially in the mountains or by the water. Hiking, kayaking, hunting, and fishing with her family are some of her most enjoyable pastimes.

     Baxter

Baxter has been Nancy's personal dog and best friend since he was an 8 week old puppy in 2001. He started as our primary canine receptionist when our office first opened in September, 2001 and hasn't missed a day of work in the past 8 years. He is a Cockapoo being ¾ poodle and ¼ cocker spaniel.

     Rusty

Rusty is the newest addition to our 4-legged receptionist committee, having arrived here in mid-December of 2008. He was rescued by Robert from a shelter to be his special companion and to ride with him on his Vespa Scooter. We’re not absolutely sure but we think Rusty was born around July, 2008 and is mostly a Border Terrier. Baxter is in charge of teaching him his office duties but agrees that he tends to have a mind of his own. (A typical Terrier characteristic we understand).
